Once upon a time, Julianna and I apparently fell down a rabbit hole. But I'm back, and thus so is she. Basically, I'm restarting her as if the events of the last time I played her (circa end of September / early October) just happened this week, and continuing on from there...That's all, hope to play with people if anyone's still around. I know it's been awhile!

After getting the address from Captain Ross, Julianna left One Police Plaza and hopped on the subway heading toward Greenwich Village. After reaching her stop, she got off the train and started the couple blocks walk. When she finally reached the apartment building, she stopped to study the place. It wasn't anything special- older, a little shabby but well-kept, not gentrified like a good part of the neighborhood had become.

After a moment, Julianna took a breath and headed inside. She looked upward as she rode the elevator. What's the big deal? she asked herself. It was only Wheeler - Megan - her friend. It was only a baby. She wasn't used to having friends with babies, or really friends she visited or hung out with frequently at all. Still, Megan was one of the only ones who she talked to lately, aside from Rodgers and (when he remembered the outside world existed) Nichols. This was good. She was changing old habits - or trying to - and stepping outside of her comfort zone. According to her shrink, this was good.

Finally, the elevator dinged and the doors opened. Julianna stepped out onto the fifth floor and started down the hallway. When she reached Megan's apartment, she took another second's pause, then knocked on the door.

Julianna looked at her reflection in the mirror one last time, tousling her long, layered hair. It spilled over her shoulders and down past the top of her black strapless cocktail dress. She wasn't much of a hair stylist - the tousling and making sure it was dry were about as fancy as she got, and other than a few swipes of mascara and some lip gloss, she hadn't done much in the way of makeup, either. Still, she usually wore her hair up and no makeup at all, so it was something.

"You'll do," she told her reflection. With that, Julianna slid into her open-toed black heels (which, as she'd told Megan on their shopping excursion, really had been buried in the back of her closet). She grabbed the one clutch that she had, though it didn't terribly match (her jewelry was probably also too casual for what she was wearing, but what did she care?) and headed out, locking up as she went.

A couple minutes later, she got out onto the sidewalk outside of her apartment where she was supposed to be meeting Zach. Well, she'd said her apartment - but she'd gotten a head start, so she figured why fuss with him having to ring the buzzer and come up to get her and all of that? As she waited, a car passed by, slowing down when the driver got to where she was. From inside the vehicle, a male voice let out a catcall.

"Oh, bite me!" Julianna yelled back. Had it been someone she'd known, that would have been one thing. Being ogled by a random asshole in his lame car (oh, she'd noticed the beat-up little Honda trying to pass as ganster) was another. This is what she got for dressing up...
